That had to have been one (if not the) best lines in that show! Hilarious episode, and Les didn't help with his live on-the-scene coverage.
Outstanding show, funniest moment on TV
It was one of the best written shows ever....
The mattress police.... "And now, the Long version...." Venus Flytrap buying a condo in "Gone with the Wind Estates" The drunk driving test.... The concert by "Scum of the Earth." "Red Wigglers... the Cadillac of worms."
Brilliant show!
Oh and.... Bailey when it came to hot chicks! And of course, Dr. Johnny Fever! Herb Tarlick was the guy you didn't want to grow up to be! I'll set DVR for this!

I have to agree with you. There are a lot of tv moments that stand out from the 60s and 70s, and that is one of the funniest.
Oh, and Bailey was hot.
The time the groupie chick brought the hash brownies was a hoot.
Come on guys, no love for Jennifer Marlowe? And how about that paranoid weasel Les Nesman. Great cast, great show. And Dr. Fever rocks!
