Rifle Scopes EoTech 552-A65 sight question

I just bought an EoTech 552 A65 and i was wondering if the 65MOA ring and the dot are supposed to be solid looking or if they are broken and made up of alot of smaller dots of light. Thanks Rick

they are suppose to be broken up and look like alot of little dots. if its solid that usually means its one of the generic Chinese copys

The ones I've looked through have been the latter. Wouldn't call it exactly broken (i.e. no gaps), but certainly not a solid line. Just a little fuzzy with the brightness dialed up.
