Not sure why, but this happened after a few dry fires adjusting a trigger. Just a faulty pin or is something off with the rifle or spring? I believe it is an Aluminum PTG pin.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Any marks on the actual tip or around where it broke? Could it be running a little off-center, maybe? I´d strip it of the spring and roll it on a glass table to check whther it´s straight in the first place. Just my random thoughts indeed...

Never had that happen to me, but all you can do with that is have it replaced. I don't think there's anything wrong with any other part without seeing it, but I really think that pin might have been defective from the start. If this is not an off hand target rifle, then go with a factory steel pin. Lock up time is meaningless on a rifle shot from supported rests such as bags. Oh no, did I just say that in public. Just my opinion based on trying different things.

No marks on the pin, pretty much a clean break! Yeah I only had this pin around so put it in, but the replacement will be a steel one! Thanks guys for the responses ! Guess if there was a warning not to dry fire, then this could be the reason.. LOL
