I've been struggling with a new case trimmer. Having all sorts of issues getting the cases square. Spent hours jacking with every adjustment and combination of parts. Finally (after many frustrating sessions) I called in a second set of eyes. My friend almost instantly saw the problem. The trimmer is very clearly a manufacturing reject that slipped through quality control. The cutting face and case holder don't come anywhere near aligning. It's so far off that the cast iron frame rocks significantly on a level surface!!! I don't know how the heck I didn't see that from the beginning. I was just so focused on the details. It's painful... I can now spot problem from 50 feet!
Oh well. Manufacturer/vendor are taking care of it. I'm going to try and keep from getting lost in the trees again.
