Evolution Bipod

Cattleman99 and I traded. It will depend on what you like and what you are wanting from the bipod. I already miss some things about the evolution, but also loving other things about the CAL. If you can describe what your wanting or looking for I might be able to help.

I currently use an evolution and like it alot. I have used it for a year. I had a harris style, dont remember the manufacturer, and this is light years ahead of that. The only issue so far has been a leg fell off on one stage, when i hooked it on a rock.
A side note, the owner of the company met me on a weekend after hours when i drove through utah, to deliver the bipod. I thought that was a pretty awesome move.

I have one, I like it a lot. I haven't used it a lot because of a bad crash on my mountain bike. So far with the little testing I did before the accident, I have used a Harris and Atlas for a few years. I like the legs on it. The height has been perfect for me, 8-13" I think it is. I don't like how the legs have a lot of play with them. Once you load the bipod you don't notice it. The legs seem a little easier to adjust when in the prone position over my Atlas

The Evopod is an excellent bipod. I love how it's basically a construction set. Attach legs to legs, the feet and spikes fit everything, including the body, etc. I know there is a history, but this new company, Modular Evolution has proven to have a good product, and they have proven that they will stand behind their product. George went above and beyond for an Evo that I bought used. It needed a little work, but they rebuilt the entire bipod for free under the lifetime warranty. And, I know that I am not an isolated incident.

How long we have to wait for the past to be the past isn't up to me. I wasn't involved in that situation in any way. But the Evo is a *very* nice piece of gear.
