Extra .308 die set?

Asking for advice on which set to get or whether anybody has more than one set for same cailber?

I have 2 different die sets for 308 so I don't have to change anything, makes good sense if spending the money won't hurt.

Of those two I like Hornady's sliding sleeve seater better, and they're probably cheaper than the RCBS. 6 of one, half-dozen of the other though.

A second die set is a good idea, if cash is not an issue. If one of your choices has a straight line seater, thats the one I would pick. If not, they all will serve you well. Lightman

Ok, after a few conversations, I'm learning that I need to look for a neck sizing die. I'm thinking Redding? I wanna try to be very accurate, without being overly finicky, but close to it. Hope I'm making sense.

A Lee collet neck sizer works great and not much money. I have a couple of those, as well as a Redding Type S bushing neck sizer. All the ammo seems to shoot the same regardless of what brand of die was used to assemble it. The Redding and Forster dies do seem to have a nicer "feel" or fit and finish, but whether or not they're worth more is totally up to the end user.
