EYEBOX AND PARALLAX ERROR

Does having a narrow eyebox minimize parallax error, and conversely - does a forgiving one lend towards more error?

In theory I guess a tight eye box can reduce the effect of parallax not being adjusted out. But I don’t see how a large eye box can negatively effect POI if parallax is corrected.
