I bought a falcon 5-25x50. it arrived in nondescript black slip cover box. a little sticker that said M25 (50)ML. no other markings on box. no paperwork, no booklet or brochure. scope doesnt have a name on it. it has a serial number 0224 and model MEN552550BM. any ideas how to tell authenticity? also without paperwork how is warranty claim worked? thanks for the help. I know I should have bought from RW Snyder and i would not have to worry. my scope has no name on it that i can find.

Mine came in the same black box. It had a receipt from Wonder Optics. In the box along with the scope there was an allen wrench, a yellow lens cloth, and a sunshade. On the scope itself, there is "MENACE counter sniper series" engraved on top near the diopter adjustment knob. It also has a serial number and MEN451856BM on the bottom right under the elevation knob. Unless we both got screwed, I'd say you got the real deal!

I have two Falcon Menace scopes, a 10x42MM MIL/MOA and 7.5x50MM MIL/MIL and they both came the same way; Big black box, no paperwork of any kind, yellow cloth, allen wrench, and 1 sunshade (2 sunshades with the 10x42mm).
Box Markings: MEN1042BM-MP20 ; MEN7550BM-MD
Markings on both eye pieces:
Menace - Counter Sniper Series
And of course on the bottom of the turret housing,
MENserialnumberBM
I got both directly from England, via Optics Warehouse, UK
You both have genuine "minimalist" Falcon Menace's.

No, it was wrapped up in some really thin white padding. It was between two thick pieces of foam in front of the objective lens.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I guess we know it is real. I do find it concerning that it doesnt have any paperwork with it. no warranty card. no address of the company. no company name anywhere. mine has absolutely no markings anywhere but on the turret housing with model and serial number.
