Lee: Did you know Kim carried a gun?
Abernathy: Yes. Now, do I approve? No. Do I know? Yes?
Kim: Look, I don't know what futuristic utopia you live in, but the world I live in, a bitch need a gun.
Abernathy: You can't get around the fact that people who carry guns, tend to get shot more than people who don't.
Kim: And you can't get around the fact that if I go down to the laundry room in my building at midnight enough times, I might get my ass raped.
Lee: Don't do your laundry at midnight.
Kim: Fuck that! I wanna do my laundry whenever the fuck I wanna do my laundry.
Abernathy: There are other things you can carry other than a gun. Pepper spray.
Kim: Uh, motherfucker tryna rape me? I don't wanna give him skin rash! I wanna shut that nigga down!
Abernathy: How about a knife at least?
Kim: Yeah, you know what happens to motherfuckers carry knives? They get shot! Look, if I ever become a famous actress, I wont carry a gun. I'll hire me a do-dirt nigga, and he'll carry the gun. And when shit goes down, I'll sit back and laugh, but until that day, it's Wild West motherfucker!

Out Cold outtakes -

Oh you foolish foolish boys. This is how it all starts. I've seen it all before. I was there. I was there. Yeah! It was called the 80's! Ford was President, Nixon was in the White House, FDR was running this country into the ground. I was bumming in a hole in the wall town in what is now called "Utah". Some fellow from Colorado shows up- starts making all kinds of so called "improvements", right? Before we knew what hit us, the streets were running us with lattes! Yup!... It got so bad that a fellow that liked to, you know, smoke a little grass or drink a little ripple. Crow like a rooster! Maybe challenge the mayor's son to a gentlemen's duel, is uncouth, "Against God!" and bad for real estate values.

Best line ever from many movies

Girl: Yeah, stick it in my ass.

Maybe we don't watch the same movies?

Re: Favorite movie dialog's

I always liked (like?) the banter in the Dashiell Hamet scripts like The Maltese Falcon and The Thin Man series.

Back then a point could be made succinctly with the artful turn of a phrase. These days, screen writers have traded the sharp wit for blunt profanity. I think we've all lost something irreplaceable in that bargain.

"Profanity; the last refuge of the illiterate".

You see,
It's basic dog psychology,
If you scare them and get them
Peeing down their leg,

They submit.

Yet if you project weakness,
You draw aggression--
That's how
People get hurt.

You see,
Fear causes hesitation
And hesitation will cause
Your worst fears to come true,

So its simple
You project strength
To avoid conflict.

Peace, through superior firepower.

Re: Favorite movie dialog's

This watch was on you daddy's wrist when he was shot down over Hanoi. He was captured and put in a Vietnamese prison camp. He knew that if the gooks ever saw the watch, they'd confiscate it--take it away. The way your dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any slope's gonna put their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright. So, he hid it, in one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years he wore this watch . . . up his ass. Then, he died of dysentery, he give me the watch. I hid this uncomfortable hunk of metal up my ass two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the watch to you.

Pretty much anything form the Unforgiven.

The whole scene from when he heads into the bar to get little bill from the time he walks in to the time he walks out and rides away is genius.

including: "you just shot an unarmed man!" "well....he should have armed himself."

Pulp Fiction

Butch: You okay?
Marsellus: Naw man. I'm pretty fuckin' far from okay.
Butch: What now?
Marsellus: What now? Let me tell you what now. I'ma call a coupla hard, pipe-hittin' niggers, who'll go to work on the homes here with a pair of pliers and a blow torch. You hear me talkin', hillbilly boy? I ain't through with you by a damn sight. I'ma get medieval on your ass.
Butch: I meant what now between me and you?
Marsellus: Oh, that what now. I tell you what now between me and you. There is no me and you. Not no more.

(I apologize in advance for the vernacular, however it is a word for word quote)

Pretty much anything Robert Duvall has ever said in a movie, esp ecially in Lonesome Dove. I do believe that I could watch the man take a shit and still be entertained!

"I God Woodrow, it ain't dyin I'm talkin about, it's livin".

Also, the dialog between John Wayne and Duvall (playing 'Lucky' Ned Pepper) in True Grit.

Duvall: I call that bold talk comin from a one-eyed fat man.
Wayne: Fill your hands, you son-of-a-Bitch!
