I have a ruger M77 Mk II Target in .223. This gun has a 1:9" twist. I thought it would probably shoot a 69 grain SMK pretty well but they are all over the place. Although it does shoot 50 grain V-max at about .5 MOA if I do my part. Not a real tack driver but pretty good for a factory Ruger. Was hoping it would shoot heavier bullets. Any advise on loads to try?
Please share with me your favorite loads for .223 with 1:9 twist rate. Especially if you have one of these rifles.
Thanks
