wow...that looks to be a real PITA to have to watch the target for the shot impact...since there is no impact berm.

It's just like at Perry or Swift or other places. I like an impact berm.

We have a berm in Oak Ridge. Watching and feeling the target has got to be a PITA. There is a range near us that's like that, I forget if it's Tullahoma or Butner (or both) Someone will chime in shortly to clarify.

Ok, like I said, I wasn't sure if it was Butner or Tullahoma. I'm hoping to get out to shoot both at some point in the near future.

A friend and I tried to go shoot the first match this yr at Tullahoma but it got washed out. Ended up doing a 600 yard practice session on our range.

Shot a Tullahoma a lot. You can usually tell your shooter by the sound of the report after 2 or 3 shots and smooth sailing after that. Its not as bad as some might think. Although the berms make it more enjoyable.

It wasnt hard knowing when your target got hit, i just held teh rope and you could feel it really easy

well, no berms but two guys per target?? we have berms around here but only one guy per target though, better move quickly around here.
A day at the range is better than a lot of other things, berm or not.
