I would really like some feed back from those that
have used both in 300WM. Which in your opinion is
the better gun for accuracy. I would also like opinions
on recoil as well. As of now, I'm really leaning towards
the Savage. I have an FCP SR in. 308 and love it.
However, I want to make the most informed decision
I can. This rifle will pretty much not be used for hunting.
I really appreciate any and all advice fellas.

Lol, I reckon I need a AI Surgeon or McMillan rifle to get an answer..
Seein hows I'm never gonna be able to afford one and if by some
small miracle I did -spendin it on a rifle would be the very last thing id do
Oh well Ill ask elsewhere.

Your question isn't a good one. What are you going to do with this rifle?

There's not going to be one that is "better for accuracy". Both are mass-produced rifles. Both makes will have tack-drivers and both will produce lemons.

What do you consider "accurate"? What defines "better"? Those are very subjective questions that mean different things for different people.

The Savage has the advantage for a garage-tinkerer. The Remington has the advantage of better aftermarket base and more smiths willing to accept it for builds should you ever choose to upgrade.

I'd personally go for the Remington as I prefer the action on the Remington and despise Savage's triggers. I've had good luck with Remington rifles in the past.
