So I've decided to start using 175gr instead of 168gr.. however, on I have a problem! I just saw on cheaperthandirt... FGMM 175gr in .308 for 33$ a box! While 7.62x51 FGMM 175gr .308 are $19... Will the 7.62 work? Will be used in a Remington700

yes 7.62x51 will work.... look at Palmetto state armory... apparently they have good prices.... but I'd buy from SW Ammo, McCourt, or Copper Creek

If I zero in with 7.62x51 FGMM BTHP and then fire .308 FGMM BTHP.. will the zero be exactly the same? I looked at the FPS and each box was exactly the same

myself and another hide member used both 175gr .308 and the 7.62x51, the 7.62 actually shot hotter! you can use both in your gun but you might want to crono it.

Buy the 175's from SW Ammo. They are about as good as off the shelf gets. I shot some FGMM through a chrono and the spread made me want to scream. I thought it was good until I tried SW. If you don't hand load, SW is the way to go. Look in the sponsor section for discount codes.
