if you dont get an ffp retical all that means is you can only range with the cross hairs at a specific power correct ?

any my next question being lets say i get a bushy 6500 or an s3 scope or something like that, is their a company that could put a different cross hair in it for me such as a horus or hash mills instead of the mill dots ?

Re: ffp and retical question

SFP scopes are usually set to range at a specific value. Depending on the power range, you can double or half the values to get the adequate range, but that involves more calculations and a greater chance of error.

There are some companies that will change the reticle, but I can't think of them off hand. Premier used to change them in Leupolds, but not anymore. I have a Sightron SIII and they have a guy that they will refer you to do change the reticle in their scopes.
