I'm heavily leaning toward the NXS 3.5-15x for an FN SPR A5M in 20" . My initial choice is go right for the F1 , but before I assume the F1 is wheres its at, are there any advantages to going second focal plane on known distances.Mostly local matches. Would be on paper and steel with an occasional mover. For tactical style COF with positional shooting, does the second focal plane have a speed advantage? If I were to go SFP I was thinking about the MOAR, but if the F1 was the way to go then I'm thinking MLR2.0

Any advice would be greatly apprecated

Opposite. The FFP would be my choice as you don't have to worry about what power you are on to use it for holds.

Like Rob01 said the FFP will be faster as you can easily use it for holds at any magnification. The second focal plane is ideal for bench rest or something of that nature where you want the finest possible reticle. FFP shines in dynamic shooting.

FFP is the only way to go. I want my holdovers, windage and lead holds to be spot on no matter what I cranked my magnification to. Especially when you say comps, on the clock is no time to try to find the proper power to hold at, or do the math for half magnification/double hold etc...
