There has been a surprising paucity of online discussions about the Fierce brand in general and the Fierce Fury rifle, in particular. As some of you may know, Fierce is probably the only maker to provide a ½ MOA guarantee at a sub-$2,000 price point.
I’ve now put about 500 shots through my Fierce Fury 6.5 Creedmoor and am contributing this post to share my results and observations.
Thanks to all of you on this forum for teaching me how to develop my own load. I’ve read hundreds of your posts, and my stellar results with the Fury are a result of your collegiality. I hope this post can pass along the goodwill.

- The recommended factory ammo (Precision Hunter ELDXs) have not generated anything like the claimed ½ MOA performance at 100 yards from a bench rest position. My results with factory ammo have averaged much closer to 2 MOA.
- With hand loads, my rifle has performed much better than advertised, generating mean 3-shot groupings of sub-1/2 MOA at 189 yards (picture attached). My recipe involves: 40.5 gr H4350, CCI BR2 primers, 140 gr Accubonds, and Peterson brass loaded to a .022-.023 jump. The associated mean velocity is @ 2680 fps, just below my pressure threshold. (At this pressure, about 10% of my brass shows light ejector smudges. When I decrease the jump to .018 virtually all of the brass develops light smudges with no associated stickiness.) I consider these results to be outstanding for an ultralight factory rifle.
- The Fury Sako-clone action is extraordinarily smooth, a genuine pleasure to cycle. The rifle is very well balanced and shoulders well. The stock is a touch wide for my trigger hand (which is interesting, given that I have large hands), but not uncomfortable.
