Finally received it in the mail thursday. Last ATF was at the shop for an inspection they suggested I upgrade. More paperwork now but it shouldn't be too bad
Not really manufacturing anything but since I do alot of mods to 1911s and now getting more into rifles that falls into the definition of "manufacturing" Now I have to make reports to the Tax and Trade bureau and all kinds of fun stuff.
They're inspections aren't bad really. This year's was much better than last. I had been storing about 230 various longguns and handguns for a friend of mine so needless to say that was an inventory nightmare. So far I haven't had any problems with ATF, they're been cool
The last two instepction scheduled from CADOJ were canceled, maybe I go lucky but my buddy who works for them on the LEO side says with the budget crunch in CA don't hold your breath on inspections, they have no money.
I couldn't imagine what other hoops you might have to jump through in CA.
I just switched to a LLC, so now i have to get a new 07. Glad i didn't just pay my SOT!
What's rough is all the ink and paper I go through printing out the extra affidavits and such that the state requires for every firearm purchase.
That would make sense about them not having any money. Heck the ATF field office in San Jose only has 2 inspectors and they cover most of this area, SJ SF and Vegas
