Finally, my rifle.

It's been a long time coming. I fell in love with one just like this years ago. Both the rifle and glass came from fellow hide members. The glass is a ST10 which of course, is not original but it keeps with the original being a fixed power optic. I think that the Steyr rifles are much underrated. I haven't shot it scoped yet but I've worked up a few loads to get started.

What cal is she? I have a 7mm hammer forged barrel model that's never been fired.

My father in law has that rifle. it shoots lights out. i believe styer maybe one of the MOST accurate out of the box stick out there. a range report is greatly anticipated.

It's a .308

I will certainly post one. To be honest, I've already had it at the range before it was scoped and still wearing the single trigger. Groups shown were the best out of four shot that afternoon but make a good place to start working up loads.

I may not be able to shoot appreciably better with a scope but we'll see. I'm notorious for a flier.
