well today with the nice weather starting and the ground hawgs starting to come out I finally got a chance to stretch the legs on ly grendel a little today and work with the shooter app some, right around lunch I see a ground hawg out in the back field I walk down the lane to behind our sheds and from there to the the corner where it was at it was 200 yards even, I dial in 1.6 per the app and first shot it dropped. about 30 min later I see one up on top the hill near the back woods, I go and range it 230 yards its about 10 yards into the woods, dial 2.4 per the app first shot. another hour and I see one at the side of the house on the other side of the pond thats 130 yards dial .3 like normal and drop that one. not more than 20 min after that I see one up in the upper field beside the house 290 yards dial 4.1 and first shot hit, I took the quad up there to look at it and I hit it dead center. I have to say im really impressed with the grendel round and the shooter app. im waiting for more hawgs to show up further out the field beside the house to the side woods is almost 500 yards.
