I'm loading for a .260 Rem using Lapua brass and Federal 210M Primers and they're very tight and some won't even seat with a LOT of pressure. Anyone else seeing this issue?

I also found that to be the case. What I do now is use salvaged primers which are slightly smaller and seat in there easier for the first firing. 210s seat ok after that.

What priming tool are you using? Are they getting pushed in crooked?

I'm using the primer system on a Rock Chucker press and they appear to be seated and straight going in. I've been loading for over forty years and haven't seen it this bad. I was jamming about 30% so I used my primer pocket swaging tool.

I am using an older hand held RCBS priming tool. Yes every now and then i get one upset by 90 degrees. Takes a lot of attempts to get it smashed flat enough to get the case out of the shell holder. But then i deprime it and seat a new one without issues

Mine are going straight in but won't seat unless I swage to hole. I don't know if it's the primer or the brass or some kind of tolerance stackup between them.
