FN SPR Owners (Win 70)

Recently purchased a FN SPR. Is it normal to wear a small grove along the rail in which the bolt rides? (Under the claw extractor) Ive been keeping the bolt well greased, probably just being paranoid, I just noticed it after returning from the range.

I cant find a single picture of a SPR or Win 70 with the bolt open at the right angle.

Can you post a pic of what you are looking at? I have a Model 70(CRF) sitting here I can compare to.

Yes, thats the one. Its exactly like that although abit shorter currently. Thanks!

That groove was already there. The finish is just getting worn off by working the bolt so you're just noticing it now.
