Fun money is at a all time low....bought a vx3 8.5-25x50. Thinking of selling my 4wheeler and buying this and getting on the list for a supressor.
Edited: after use I have found these guns to be absolute garbage. I had nothing but problems with these pistols and I urge those on the fence to look elsewhere. Here's my write up about it if you are interested:

I bought an fnx45t and bought an fnx45 as my daily carry. Love them. It's good to have complete compatability and similar ergonomics with a daily carry and a competition gun. And... get an RMR.

There are no haters. Ergos are better than a Glock. They fit well even with small hands. That coming from a Glock shooter. Only problem you will have is buying just the .45. You will also need a 9mm to go with it. Shoots very well with an Osprey on the front.
'nother fan here. FANTASTIC weapon. Don't plan on trying to conceal it unless you're Shaquille O'Neal or wearing a backpack... it's a BIG piece. They shoot VERY well, have monster capacity (15+1) for a .45 (assuming you don't have any mag cap issues in your state), and as others have mentioned, make fantastic suppressor hosts.

I am a glock fan also but this FNX45 is awesome, great trigger, sights ready for suppressor, slide ready for optic, most accurate and softest shooting 45 i own. 15rds mags, whats not to love, smooth double action, thumb safety/decocker gives excellent carry options. I have over 5000 rds through mine without a single hickup and i bought it used, cleaned only twice after shooting lead through it.
at that price I would snag it quickly

I am a long time owner of the FNX45T and it is amazing. Finally got the TiRant 45 suppressor and it is very effective. I do conceal it with a Bladetech holster and a jacket or beat over it and it does not print. You can't beat 15+1 standard capacity in a .45 acp. I compete in limited 10 division in USPSA with it and used it for a front sight class. I do have another review on the FNX45T on the hide in a past thread if you want more info. Only thing I don't have is a red dot.
thank you for all the great info. i´m a long time bolt action shooter this will be my first handgun in 20 years had a 44 revolver in my twenties that just wasn't practical traded it off so I'm excited to try a new form shooting sports.I will eventually put a good red dot sight on it but I think its important to learn to shoot without batteries I need to develop some skills before I go for the extras should be a good learning experience
Sorry to hear this. The gun's concept is awesome. Looks like FN is not there on the execution.
I have one as well, and while I have not run it particularly hard, I have shot it both suppressed and unsuppressed... and been happy with it all around. It sounds like they may be kind of hit-or-miss (if you'll pardon the pun), but I am certainly happy with mine.
I'm nearing that 2500 round mark on mine with no issues to report, most of which has been suppressed with an RMR on it. The gun just plain runs and I can center punch a nice hole out of a target with it like nobody's business. In my experience, the only gripe I have with it is that went shot with a wet suppressor the gun becomes useless as the RMR just gets covered with wire pulling gel as the way the action unlocks it seems to blow more crap back than other actions. However, it still runs even gunked up, something that cannot be said about all other hosts went suppressed. For a gun to run reliably suppressed with the added weight of an RMR is good in my book as not all pistols will handle the extra weight and crap in the action as well as this gun does. The FNX isn't perfect and it does feel a little on the cheap side, but at the end of the day it's not a pistol that is leaving my collection.
I would buy a resell for that price. However I would not keep one. It has features but was nothing with problems for me on several different models. Here's a post of my experience:

I had one also ,sold it .I was having feeding issues with it .It was a nice gun .I think they are over priced. I think my next one will H&K45 T or another 1911.
i think its cool that fn started making a fully ambi H&K USP 45 with slide cuts for an RDS lol

You got a good price on it. The platform just doesn't do it for me. I currently have a g21 that works but not thrilled with it. Waiting on my colt to get back from the Smith to use as the host. I have ameriglo sights on the 21 and they suck badly. It shoots low enough that I would have to file the front sight below the can height in order to hit anything.
