Being half Hispanic and half Asian (Chinese), I can tell you that that is beginning to change. My family (which is from the pan handle of Texas originally) almost all vote conservative (we got a few sticks in the woodpile that want to go across the grain). That being said, many Vietnamese (which typically do vote democrat) are waking up, with their party suddenly swinging communist (which many still remember fighting, or their parents fighting). I literally just had a long time Vietnamese friend reach to me last week, talking about how she was NOT voting for the Dems this election (or the last one for that matter). Her comment was "They've become fucking communists!" and that many in the Vietnamese community were quietly against these new laws, since they've seen how they turned out before in Vietnam.
As to Hispanics, they (typically) have always been part of the silent majority. Conservative Hispanics (like conservative African Americans) are rarely open or vocal about their voting choices.
