Re: For The Resident Cat Lovers - Using Your Head

My cat drinks water like that put never stuck her head under it. She does however not like to drink out of a bowl. She will stick her paw into the water then lick the water off. I guess she can't see the water and does not want to stick her nose into it.

Our one cat is a hunter at heart, he can't eat from the food bowl, he has to pick a piece out, bat it across the floor then stalk it..at which point he picks it up on a paw and eats it...the other one just binges out of the bowl then purges somewhere else.

Same here. Stupid thing will have water everywhere.

Some friends of mine had a Maine Coon. From what I was told, this breed was used for mousing on the old wooden merchant ships. It would stick its head under a faucet, too. Cracked me up.

my one cat will catch a bird or mouse then bring it into the house and let it go. then it just sits around watching the wife and i go after the bird. i let a trap catch the mice. the other cat must be from Texas, she lays on top of my p/u and when a dog walks by she jumps down on its back, digs in and goes for a nice ride she loves to hear those dogs squawl
