This is pretty insane. These guys built a camera so fast that they can film a tiny bit of a LASER beam traveling through a Coke bottle and it's slow enough you can actually watch it travel from one side to the other. If you bore quickly skip ahead to two minutes. The explanation, however, is quite fascinating. It also has potential military applications.

This is a few months old. If it was posted earlier, I'll repent for the sins of not searching first tomorrow. Maybe this will take your mind off the election, if only for a minute.

Combine that technology with some fancy algorithms and a super computer and predicting the future might not be too far-fetched.
