Can anyone tell me the actual physical diameter of the objective end of a 44mm USO? Doing some rough estimates/measuring and it would help a lot. Inches or mm is fine.

Yep, that's what I needed. Thanks sobr. Reason I was asking was, (since you anyway know my other thread), I had once mounted a 50mm Leupold on my rig and it was enormous. Well, I handled and looked at some USOs in 44mm and they looked pretty big as well- sure enough, the actual bell size on both is within 0.06". (The Leupold is 2.3").

Just measured my canadian tpal, and it is 2.230" The calipers I had handy are junk, so probably off a couple of thousandths.

It's really not that bad. My SN-3 ERGO is only slightly larger than my Falcon 44mm
