Forester CO-AX upgrades?

I have had a CO-AX for around 3 years now and am looking to purchase some upgrades for it.

Mainly looking at the access side linkages from Inline Fabrication.

Some of the older photos show that they were like half moon shaped. The new ones show they have a point in the middle of them for some reason. Kinda defeats the purpose of having them imo.

Anyone know why they put them that way?

I also looking for a short handle. The stock one is too long and having to move side to side is getting old.

I see what you're talking about now. I didn't realize there was a change. Doesn't make any sense to me either.

Short handle was a HUGE improvement for me and makes me wonder why it doesn't come with it. I know why it doesn't and it is worth the $25.95 + shipping. ?

I'd ASSume there's some other options available? A quick Google shows one guy made his own. They were square and the increase in room was quite a bit. I'd be worried about flex though.

The stops (peg) on the sides of the ram bottom out on the triangular projections on the new links, stopping the press before it might potentially damage the shell holder plate. On the original straight links, that's where the pegs would bottom out. With the half moon links you had to add a stop (allen screw) to keep the press from over-caming as the ram could travel beyond the design limit.

I can highly recommend these three upgrades for the Co-Ax. I used to have mine mounted to the bench top, but going with the ultramount made it much more ergonomic to work with.

The Inline Fab short roller handle moves your hand to the side of the press instead of the center. I find manipulating the press with the roller more intuitive than the straight handle. The new linkage is kind of a waste.

Lol thanks I get it now. Also got a response from the owner and he sically explained the same things. Said he wasn’t too happy with the new design but it was the safest way to go for him and his business.

I cut about 2" off my handle and that was a big improvement, but the new links opened up the entire front of the press. I was thinking about getting an led kit for it, but I no longer need it.

Sent an inquiry and haven't heard back. From his video it looks like it could be a one-man show / maybe a side gig so perhaps some patience on my part is needed. I acquired an old Bonanza that looks like hell but is pretty solid under the gunk and some surface rust. Worst of it is the shell holder assembly so I would rather use this instead of OEM if its still available.
Most mentions of this I could find through a web search were a year old or more. I'll be stoked if its still available!

What does the jaws upgrade actually do?

The jaws upgrade make it somewhat easier to switch the jaws from S - LG. It's still a pain in the ass, but not as much as with the stock jaws, so I just bought a pair of the Forster quick change jaws. One standard small and one standard large.
