After 65 rounds through my suppressed AR-10 (.308 with TBAC 30P-1), the action and receiver are coated with a thick layer of fouling that often requires steel wool to remove. After about 40 rounds, a chambered cartridge can't be removed without having to beat a bit on the charging handle.

Is this fouling normal? If so, should I be doing anything to keep things running smoothly?

Thank you,
Richard

Try Fireclean or Froglube on your rifle, it won't stop the build up but it will make it super easy to clean, and should help you get more rounds down before you have problems
