After 65 rounds through my suppressed AR-10 (.308 with TBAC 30P-1), the action and receiver are coated with a thick layer of fouling that often requires steel wool to remove. After about 40 rounds, a chambered cartridge can't be removed without having to beat a bit on the charging handle.
Is this fouling normal? If so, should I be doing anything to keep things running smoothly?
Thank you,
Richard
