Foundation Exodus Stock with Area 419 weight tunable ARCALock Rail

You are correct. Both are great companies to work with. Spoke with Area 419 and only issue would be cap screw diameter. I’ll measure mine and check back with them.

I did it last week. I used the nuts that foundation uses to install their rail and requested some shorter screws from area 419 with the rail. The screw heads Foundation use are too big and the screws area 419 normally sends are too long.

Perfect...exactly what I was looking for. How do you like that rail on it?

Also I did not use the action screw to install it so taking the action out of the stock will take a little more effort than before. The short screws Area 419 were slightly too short for the next hole forward that requires a washer so I used one of the foundation screws in that hole. I’ll get some pictures of you want.

It’s a little more proud on the end and thicker than the foundation rail which I like the look of less but that’s just me being picky. Functionally it’s great and the added weight helps balance out my vudoo better. I’ll have to throw it on my centerfire and spend some time with it before I decide if it’s worth it to buy another. It balances pretty well already but I wouldn’t be against a little more weight.

Great info and pics would be awesome if you don’t mind...barrel should be in next week and preparing ahead in case I need to balance things out. I’ve also got the “light“ model so adding some weight will be welcome.
