Have any of you guys seen these stocks? I saw a couple of them yesterday and got a chance to play with it for a few minutes.

They are made in OK and utilize a mini chassis system so no bedding. They are shaped like a Manners T4 style.

They seem really slick and well made.

they look sexy...but for more than 2x the price of a Mcmillan with no additional benefit......i think im gonna pass.

and if i recall, they are 100% micarta, no internal chassis sytem.

Maybe I misheard the guy that owned it.

So does Micarta negate having to bed the stock?

This was the first time I have even seen them and several of the guys were running them. (The match was close to the manufacture)

They were extremely nice and felt great. I thought they were wood until I spoke to the owner about it.

A full built Manners is only a little less then what they are asking.

OK just read that basically the Micarta is so stiff it doesn't require pillars or traditional bedding. That's interesting but it is expensive.

I won't be changing my T6A for one but man they were eye catching and if I was in the market I would look hard at one. They make for beautiful rifles.

As much as I love my A5's, with the modularity of chassis systems I just don't see any reason to use a traditional style stock for the type of shooting most of us do here on the board. Especially a traditional style stock that is twice as expensive as a fiberglass stock.
