Free gift I need help

I'm eligible for a free gift from work and I have narrowed it down to 2 items from the catalog. I'm stuck between Callaway iQ Laser Rangefinder and ALPEN 20-60 X 80 SPOTTING SCOPE KIT. I am in the market for both of these items for my shooting bag just wanted some input and opinions one which one you would get for free and then buy the other are there any pros or cons for either. The only con I can see so far is the rangefinder only goes out to 915 yards is it a better choice over the spotter or do I get the spotter and buy a different RF latter.

either one looks good for free, only in ideal conditions (no sun, low humidity) will that or most any RF for less than a couple grand acquire and range reasonable size objects at more than a few hundred yds

Not at all correct info.

I suppose you need to clarify what your calling "a few hundred yards". My Fusions ($699) have never failed in any condition except for fog, dense fog.
