Gunsmithing From alpha type 2 mags to AW mags.

I plan on getting a Remington 700 AAC-SD soon as a project gun. After upgrading the stock and trigger first I want to get a detachable magazines system for the gun. I dont know what bottom metal I am going to go with right now, but I will probably be going with the Alpha type 2 mags. But when I get the action trued and a new barrel installed I want accurate ordnance to cut the action to use AI AW magazines. The problem is the action's feed ramp will have to be modified slightly to accept the alpha type 2 mags, and I was told that slight mod will make the action unusable for AI AW magazine modification later. I dont know if this is true or not, so I thought I would ask here. I would ask accurate ordnance themselves but I cant log into my email to send them an email. Thanks to all who can help.

from my understanding its not an interchangeable process. you would pick one mag type or the other. for the rifle im planning, im going to be using the manners DBM system w/ alpha and AI mags. the reason being i could seat longer bullets.

Thanks to you both. But I dont want to use both at the same time. What i want to do is use the alpha type 2 mags originally. Then when I get around to rebarreling and truing the action I will get it cut for AW mags. But because of the modification that will then have to be done to the feed ramps to use the alpha type 2 mags the mag well will then be to long to then do the modification for the gun to be able to accept AW magazines, and sence I cant email accurate ordnance to see if this is true, because they are the one who are going to be doing the work. I thought I would ask here to get an answer. Sorry if I worded the question as to make it sound like I wanted to use both type of magazines interchangablely.
