Borka MG-17 Multi-Tool

1. This company is not an authorized dealer for Borka Tools products.
2. This company did not purchase any MG17 kits from Borka Tools.
3. This company advertises incorrect pricing for MG17 kit.

I did request Naro Distributors to immediately remove this webpage mentioned above.

Below is the list of Borka Tools authorized dealers in the U.S.:

1. Triad Tactical (MG17 kits and other Borka Tools products)
2. Liberty Optics (MG17 kits)
3. Rifles Only (MG17 kits)
4. Mile High Shooting Accessories (MG17 kits)
5. SWFA (MG17 kits, coming soon)
6. Brownells (MG15/16, Brownells special configuration, coming soon)
7. Dave Manson Precision Reamers (see details at Shooters Tools online store by Borka Enterprises, LLC)

Please take this into consideration while shopping for MG17 kits.

Boris

Wow that looks nothing like the kit I bought from you on group buy.

I can understand your being disturbed. Thanks for te warning.

Picture and description is for the new, 2014 kit, which was not offered on SH. This info was obviously just copied from my website.

I'm not really disturbed, I'm just pissed off, cause this is not productive for anybody, including Naro Distributors, and contibutes to unnecessary confusion for some of potential customers. It simply makes no practical sense at all.

Boris, do you feel FLATTERED by the copy????

Info from their site:

NARO Distributors Incorporated

P.O. Box 82605
Austin, Texas 78708
Fax: (512) 388-1058
Email: [email protected]

Steve, I'm sure it's not a copy, if you mean physical copy of the product, just a stupid thing for them to claim they have MG17kits for sale while they do not, and naturally, will never have, as far as I'm concerned.

Now, if somebody does decide to copy my patented stuff, I can see situation quickly turning into a sad story for such "somebody". Violating my IP rights (US patent attached to this product) may be certainly addressed in traditional American way, but I also have another options.

Update: I've received a call from Mr. R. Hall, who represents Naro Distributors. At the end of the day, they did a right thing, after initially doing the wrong thing, which I consider to be a good thing. Fake add was taken out in relatively quick fashion. This matter is now closed.

I own and am very satisfied with my borka (from brownells), I'm curious has anyone ever purchased from NARO? Is this a legitimate business, or are they scam artists? Looking at their web page, they claim to have partnered with all kinds of weapons mfg'ers. A closer read leads me to believe they will "order" something for you, kinda sorta. I find it hard to believe these "experts" didn't know they were selling fakes, and/or ripping people off. I understand the matter may be closed, but I'd keep a close eye on things, as thieves have a tendency to change names and pop up again and again.

Hello Everyone, my name is Roland Hall, owner of NARO Distributors Inc. I wanted to explain this unfortunate situation before it gets out of hand. I recently purchased one of Boris's MG17 field kits and made the mistake of incorrectly listing it as one of the products we sell. I do understand MAP pricing, the price posted was simply a mistake, a typo. I never intended to copy or produce fakes of this genius product, no ill intent or deception was intended, this was all just a series of unfortunate mistakes.

We are working hard to build our business and maintain the highest level of customer support and integrity, please accept my sincerest apology to all this has effected especially Boris. Thank you

The reason that this thread has been started in the first place is due to the fact that Mr. Hall did not initially react, in satisfactory manner, to my time sensative warning sent to him that unless the fake ad is removed immediately, I'll be forced to make everybody aware of the situation. I was ready to go even further, beyond just making SH members aware of the situation, to make it happen and to ensure that Borka Tools potential customers, Borka Tools dealers and my own company are not negatively affected. However, Mr. Hall did realize, per his own admission, that he's made some serious mistakes due to his, as it appears, somewhat limited experience in business. He contacted me and appologized. I wish him the best in developing his business, so that his company could serve the needs of shooting community.

Frank, if you believe that this thread does not serve its purpose any longer, please feel free to remove it, so that NARO Distributors does not suffer any potential negative publicity, which is an obvious and understandable concern for Mr. Hall.
