Gunsmithing Front action screw slightly over-trimmed

I trimmed my BDL screw to fit a Area 419 plate on my Manners ultra classic. I can torque the front screw to 65 in/lbs but it's slightly shorter than it should be (maybe 2 threads). Should I order some new screws and start over or since it's able to hold 65 in/lbs will I be fine ? It's for a R700 300BLK.

Two turns? There's not a whole lot there to begin with. You should probably go ahead and order you except... Probably order two or three extended just to have on hand
