Any bag can be good, just make sure its full of sand for the best support.

As Spife said. Fill it with sand (I like fine garnet) not poly beads or gitlite.

Also consider going to some local matches before you buy. Most guys are more than willing to let you try bags out.
I will also agree the heavy shmedium is a great place to start. I find the pint size just isn’t big enough on occasion (like shooting prone down hill)
