Little compassionate toward crazy people lately since my son, 11 yoa, had a reaction to strep and overnight developed severe anxiety and has shit going on in his head leading to say he will harm himself and pounding his forehead on a granite countertop. Totally out of character behavior we can almost pinpoint its onset to the hour.
Apparently some docs dont believe infection, a medical issue, can cause crazy, a mental issue, but me just an uneducated observer that wonders how many people diagnosed as crazy have autoimmune systems that have been hypersensitized by infection and are eating their own brains untreated....symptoms only masked by mental meds.
Not saying thats her case but I wonder these days.
