Considering that Savage has the ugliest bolts around- that's a helluva good looking tune-up!! What do you reckon you might charge for that kind of work. I have a couple of the uglies.

have we any thoughts about strength loss?? understand the principle, and absolutely agree great work and way cool!! but are they mechaincally safe?

The only part under any strain, upon firing, is the bolt head and lugs. The bolt body is just along for ride. The bolt head and lugs are not modified in any way.
