I have a friend in New Zealand with an exceptional collection of fine old Marlin rifles.

Many acquired from visits to the US.

He talks about one in particular chambered in .32 rimfire

His gov has ruled it an assault weapon because it holds more than ten rounds. In a tubular magazine!

He has to go to great pains to just own it.

Anyway he hasn't been able to find ammo for it in a very long time.

Well I found a couple boxes and was going to surprise him for Christmas until I found out I cannot get them to him legally.

And I sure as hell don't want to get him in trouble, he is a fine old gentleman

Just before retirement I grabbed a folding chair and walked off the loading dock into an empty box car.
I sat down and started writing on the inside wall with a magic marker all the people who had passed I had worked with.
I was soon joined by other coworkers.
we soon had a list of 128 names.
I feel pretty fortunate I've made it through another year.
God bless all who passed and for those that are here now all the best luck in the new year.

Now I understand why my Dad sold his 1 owner, pristine 1967 Camero when I turned 14. But Dayum! I would love to own that car. 95% stock, glass packs and Pioneer sound system were the only modifications. Dark Tahoe Blue with Black Leather interior. I can still remember riding it on family ski trips (Better off Dead - movie) and headed to other family adventures.

He even took it Elk Hunting out of La Grande OR. Before I was born. Out with my mother’s cousins.

Giants who once lived. Burial mounds are all over the east coast. Some have been found in the Southwest and there are several Indian tales about them. Lincoln even wrote about them. They are also known as Nephilim.

That is as a pretty interesting historical rabbit hole do delve into!

From the biblical references to the hoaxers… thanks! Neat bit of background!

Delve into neanderthals. Are they an early stage of human development or really old people from biblical times before God limited the age of mankind? There's some research into what the skeletal system would look like for people three to four hundred years old like Noah.

I'm 57 and hurt every where. Can you imagine being 400 years old?

If you follow biblical genealogy records, Methuselah died the year of Noah's flood. Did he die naturally, or did I pump him into my fuel tank last week?
