Grew up in the late sixties and early seventies listening to the Tale Spinners series of records from United Artists. The records were very well produced with several very good voice actors. Some include various tracks of classical music.

If you've got young kids or grandkids, they might enjoy these. Something to listen to in the car...

Knights of the Round Table was one of my favorites.

Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov is the backing music for Aladdin

In days gone by, Millions if not Billions of American Buffalo (Bison) roamed the American West. Bison are Bovines. Domesticated Cattle are (you guessed it) Bovines. Domesticated cattle are declared to be the chief cause of global warming. (Declared to put 14% of all harmful greenhouse gases into the Atmosphere.

The question the greenies will never answer me is….”if cows are destroying the planet, how come the multi MILLIONS of Bison had not already destroyed the planet”. Hummmm, Inquiring minds really want to know.

Vegans, it is proven science, (not some whacked out politicians political rhetoric) that fire, which broke down the proteins in meat, that allowed the human brain to develop. Otherwise, we would all be still wandering the savanna’s of Africa, trying to find something to eat, while dodging the Lions who wanted to eat us. End of lecture.

I am going to just take a wild guess here... But Command Sergeant Major Keith Deboo of the Recruit and Retention Battalion for the Montana Army National Guard is probably NOT a very happy camper this weekend!

Tomorrow morning at Bn HQ is going to be... sporty!

In case we have any Snipers Hide members 'from' the Montana Army National Guard... can you get us a report in the am? It will probably be epic. You may learn new words.

Cheers,

Sirhr

How long did it take them to figure this out?

GFxGPcVbYAELiAf

IIRC quite a few years ago a large jetliner was brought in as a glider when it ran out of fuel over Canada. It had been fueled with Liters instead of gallons and lost all its engines. It think it was out in Alberta somewhere. @Sean the Nailer will probably know. It was a big deal. Long before that Sully guy landed in the Hudson, the pilot in Canada brought his plane down whole with no injuries on a dead stick landing.

Impressive.

Edit: Here's the story. The Gimli Glider... A Boeing 767. That's impressive!

Bet you could not do that today with fly-by-wire and all that electronic shit...

when you mentioned africa, you forgot the billions of antelope, elephants etc etc etc farting in the wild. don't see why polar ice didn't melt way back then.

Isn’t jet fuel measured in pounds?

I used to shot a good stick but this is amazing. Skip to 3:19 for one hell of a shot.

I grew up with a guy named Keith McCreedy, for years he was the number 1 money player in the world but it was back in the 80's-90's.
If you remember the Tom Cruise movie "Color of Money" he did all the trick shooting in the movie and played the smart mouthed main opponent of Tom Cruise.....and that was really how he was, smart mouthed punk that could shoot like a mofo.

I hung out with his brother Mike more than him but they both were the best players that I've ever seen.
That Efron shot would not be unusual to see either of them pull off when they went out 'sharking' to make some money.

I watched Keith shark a guy at the old "HardTimes" poolhall/bar in Newport Beach Ca one night for 20 some odd K $....and while the guy that got smoked did pay up, the bar was mysteriously burnt to the ground later on that night (you can maybe google that up, dunno).

Last time I saw Keith he was a full on strung out junkie....I imagine he's long since dead from an OD.
Dunno, I don't live in that area anymore.

I saw him pull off masse' shots that would leave mouths dropped to the floor.....the jump shot in that movie was just an everyday thing to him.
It's too bad that is really no footage of him doing his thing at his best other than the movie and a couple tournaments.....and he didn't play many tournaments so he could keep his face unknown to be able to shark easier.
If someone knows your face it's hard to get them to play for 20-50-100$ a ball in some random poolhall somewhere.
