Nice day at one of the ranches I hunt coyotes on. None harvested but the scenery was awesome. I hadn't seen the elk the last couple times out, but they popped up out of the canyon mid morning. I had a friend for several hours... mom went down the hill for feed and water. Rancher lost another cow sadly... can't be good for the profit margin. I'll be back again tomorrow if it isn't snowing too bad.

I started and ran an after school mentoring program for “at risk” kids. We took a spool and simply tied the boys around the center part when we rolled them down the hill. Never laughed so hard
