My sister was going through some things from my parents found this and sent it to me last night. My father's older brother who was killed in a B-29 training accident. My father at the time of his death was a B-24 ball turret gunner with the 829th of the 485th in Italy. His father (my grandfather) was an iron worker/rigger working at the Brooklyn Naval and died as a result of workplace accident while my father was oversees as well. Tough generation of men and women.
I didn’t know I could still do this. Been a while since I tried.
Some just want to watch the world burn..
