Single shot .410 was the first shotgun I ever shot when I was very young. Have a Browning 725 .410 O/U sitting in my safe. Can't hit shit with it but fun to shoot. Remember watching American Sportsman many years ago where Kurt Gowdy was hunting quail in AZ with Andy Devine and they were shooting .410 doubles.
Bing Crosby owned a ranch up where I grew up, and the Rat Pack would come up to quail hunt. 410 and 28 Ga were the shotguns of choice.
I was aware of that. She drove her own Land Rovers in Scotland and for many years, maintained them herself. It was one of her 'Fun, non-royal things' that she could get away with when the camers weren't on her.
She was a cool lady!
