I bet You would be able to tell who drove which van from the outside too.
The one with the intact fenders and bumpers would be driven by the guy with the left interior.
Disagree.
My FiL before he retired had a van that would make the one on the left look good. He had everything and knew just where everything was. The customer does not want to pay for a new X, I bet Tom has one on his truck.....hay Tom you got a XYZ for an ABC from 1987, yea I got 4 of them why.
The man NEVER took a vacation....NEVER. But at a company party he wins an all expense paid trip to Hawaii, really the trip of a lifetime for this man that grew up share crop on a dirt floor, they had a dirt floor.
He gets back and they "cleaned up" his van. It was all a ploy to get him away.
Hay Tom do you have ___ No you tossed all my stuff away, well so and so really needs one. You tossed 6 of them in the dumpster remember.
He was also the one the customers wanted, did the job correctly, fast, and the man flat loves to talk. He will talk your ear off while he is working. Don't want to talk don't stand there where he is talking, but if you are there he is going to chew the fat while making new fittings or running new line.
The man should have never retired, but his body started to fail on him so he just could not do it anymore. He is a very people person, and now all he sees is the MiL.
Now I am 80 days out after moving my date up one full year. I am finished playing the political games here. MiL thinks it is great, FiL thinks I might get board after I take care of everything around the house. He is impressed with the shop my boy and I built. I need to put new doors on the building, I am going to invite him out to "help". I think that would really make his day.
Don't judge a book by its cover.
