I end up using the winch to pull logs out of weird places when a tree falls somewhere out here. That is probably where 90% of the use is. If this one pulls as many as the old one, for $59,
The ZXR line is permanent magnet too so less power required for the capacity.

Three people were killed after a semi-truck attempted to make a U-turn on the Florida Turnpike.
Got caught up in this mess on my way to work a few weeks ago. I was at the front of the line waiting for the cleanup. Had I been in the right lane instead of the center lane, I might have been able to slip by. Literally rolled up just as the state patrol began shutting down lanes. They ended up shutting down both sides, I 95 north and south just south of New Smyrna, and I sat for just over an hour while they brought in flight for life, etc.
This has been occurring for at least 10 years. Only now are they making it official.

So spent the last couple of weekend trying to boost my "Concrete Work" Cred here on SH. You know, to show that I own that sniper rep. Though my tab says Marksman/Observer. But it's sniper-adjacent.
Putting in a gate here at Schloss Nitrocellulose after having to deal one too many times with moonbats who have fuckiing dog psychics. This will make the East German Stasi c. 1982 go all "Schitzengigglin" and will include video cameras and at least a couple of mock Claymores.
Regardless... Granite posts. 6" thick footer with rebar going 36 inches down. 18" tall 16x16" base with a welded-up rebar cage to contain the granite post. 15 x 15" x 13" final sheathing with the granite posts caged in the rebar.
Will include two bars, each 12 feet long. And a sign that makes it clear that if you go past this gate and are unauthorized, you will regret it.
Fucking morons.... Tired of them driving (or riding their faggot bicycles) up my driveway despite a very clear sign at the lower entrance. After they get past this, it will be game on!

Benchpress ?
I think the last time I did a bench press was my entrance exam to the Academy c 2005... and I weighed 195 and pressed 240. I think I needed to do 80 percent of body weight to pass. So I was ok with that.
Today, I'd probably be lucky to press 150 without suffering an infarction. But WTF... I'm 60-something.
I'll see what I can do and report in next few weeks. If I don't, you can assume I died.
