Kind of interesting. Carter was trying to stave off inflation… so signed it. Ted Kennedy was part of organizing it… probably thought it was a way to hit back at the mob that killed at least one of his brothers. And here I figured it was because of that episode where the Union bosses beat up BJ and the Bear and trashed his dirtbike and all us kids wrote in complaining to Walter Mondale.
