At 75, that is the one thing that bothers me. I have no fear of death, I know there is eternal life, but I dont want to end up like that. I hope I either suffer a massive aortic failure (a quick, painless, lights out) or have the sense to put the 1911 in my mouth, before that happens.
MI biggest fear would be leaving my wife, for some reason she has gotten attached to me.

Being put in a home would be the worst thing

I just watched a friend of mine (77 yo with cancer) go through the process of "actively dying". I found nothing particularly funny-awesome about that shit. I guess I am just too soft for the hide.

Well, I find it awesome to see a true traditional marriage. A lifetime commitment till death do they part. 81 years together is impressive. I've been told that when your body is going through the dying process, the final sense to shut off is your hearing. The last sound he heard before meeting God, was his wife's voice. The same voice he's known for 81 years. So yeah, I do find that awesome.

View attachment 8780964Me and my wife heading up and over going to the sun road in glacier national park last Tuesday. Kind of a grey day but the fall colors were pretty. This is going up the east side heading west. This one is red eagle mountain across lower st. marys lake.

Columbia River Gorge a bit over a week ago. The scenery in the American west is just beyond belief!!

Cocaine bear? I mean… it happened once?
Posted up a cocaine bear flyer at work a few years back. One of the admin team wanted to give me write up for it. Because it might "offend someone".

I looked at him deadpan & asked him if he's retarded. Not developmentally challenged. Retarded. No joke.

Never received the rip. Nor one for asking him if he is retarded.

Nor one for calling him a communist. To his face. Me: Are you a communist? It's America, its ok to be a communist, little guy. -Before 9/11 last year, when he couldn't comprehend why we fly a US flag, let alone set it at half staff when etiquette requires.

This would have done some damage!!!

Not a slate wiper, but could have taken the heart out of a city!

My vote would be Portland…

But due to efforts of brave social justice warriors in government the asteroid missed our planet. We may not be so lucky if we continue to tolerate hate speech and animal husbandry.
