Supposedly the Wright Brothers designed a variant of their Wright Flyer around this gun to deploy against armored up Model-Ts.
Sadly, this early forerunner of the A-10 Warthog was never produced.

I think Leonardo beat them to it and was going to put it on one of his or ornithopters!

You’re not only had to pedal hard to make the wings move, but you had to turn the crank. Flight school was definitely a bitch!
