Does the gas from the 4 and 8 o'clock ports go to the gas tube? Or is it simply held in the outer barrel cuts under the gas block?
I searched a bit and G seems to not wanna give details, and people speculate both ways.

You can see where the “channel” interconnects them. So yes, they all feed / are a part of the gas system.

Grabbed one of these also. It’s gotta be better than the barrel it’s replacing…which was a dogshit supposedly LW but shot like ass.

I have one of the older Mega rails with a narrow ID. It’s always been tight with gas block clearance. So I’m pretty sure the included Geissele gb will go in the parts bin. To deal with that I ordered one of the tabbed low profile Centurion gb’s. Hoping the tab slot on the Geissele barrel and the tab on the block play nice. Will report back with my experience in case anybody else has a narrow ID rail.

I can't decide if I should build mine right away or sit on it. I already have 2x new 18" 223 Wylde builds in testing!

Mine was delivered today. Everything important looked great in the bore scope(throat, crown, gas ports, etc). Nitpicking, there is a mildly/insignificantly deep scratch in the chamber that looks like a chip during chambering got stuck and dragged out with the reamer. Doesn't look like it would affect function or damage brass. There is also light surface rust on the barrel extension.

For the price so far I'm definitely happy with the purchase. I'm saving mine for when my proof barrel gets shot out so hopefully you guys report back with good results on this batch.
