Is there a way on the GAP-10 to close the upper onto the lower with the hammer down? On mine and by buddies new GAP's the hammer appears to be hitting the firing pin and not allowing the upper to close onto the lower. We have tried pushing the firing pin down, but the only way we can get it closed is with the hammer cocked back. Then we have to either leave the hammer in the cocked position or dry fire it.
My buddy was using the dry fire method and his gun had to go back to GAP because the part that locks the action back. Is anyone else having these issues? Would using a 'snap cap' be the best solution or just leave the hammer back?
Thanks
